 Don't Fence Me In | 70 entries, 34 comments | | .......Have you ever seen a rootbound plant? The helpless little thing has outgrown it's pot, but having been forced to remain confined, it's roots circle round and round the pot searching for somewhere to go. I believe that just like plants, children need to be able to stretch out and given space to reach their full potential. I will not allow my children's love of learning to be smothered. If something interests them, we'll persue it for as long as it does. No bells and timers. No conveyor belts. No pots. Just say no to rootbound children. |
