About Me:
I am wife to Jonathan and mama to 4 wonderful kids. One grew in my womb, the others my heart and will hopefully officially be mine before school starts this fall, Lord willing and the creek don't rise! Naomi 9, Alyvia 6, Daniel (Omar)3 and Elaina 2. Yep, they keep me busy. Some times it is hard, I have not been able to train them from birth like the oldest. At times it feels like I got triplets! yikes, bad habits times 3, breaking them all at the same time is not easy. However, I would not give them up for anything. This to shall pass as my dad would say.
I am married to my best friend Jonathan. We have known each other since we were 4 and 3. Life has been full of lots of interesting twists and turns, but I have learned so much and I love having my best friend by my side. We just celebrated 10 wonderful years together. I cannot believe we have been married that long, it seems it was just yesterday.
We live in the desert of Wyoming and serve where we are needed. We love homeschooling and the freedom it gives us with my husbands crazy work schedule. I love having my kids around me, and being able to be there for all those firsts. I love watching them learn new things and seeing the wonder and excitement on their face as they discover new and interesting things. I love learning things alongside them as well. Sadly we live far away from all family, but we have carved out a life for ourselves here. Maybe one day we can move closer to our family. But for now we will serve God here where He has us planted.

Anything and everything you might want to know and some you probably don't. I will try to be as real as possible. Seeing people but on a false front to impress others bothers me, and I have often felt so inadequate compared to others. But then one day it dawned on me, that I am not alone in my struggles, we all have our struggles and valley's and mountaintops. They may be different but we all have them. So hear this, I am not perfect and do not expect my friends to be perfect. Hopefully together we can grow and learn. I want to be me and hopefully others will be encouraged that they are not alone in their struggles. While I hope to not offend, I know that if I am not showing the real me, essentially I am lying. So here I am all the good, bad and ugly. I hope that I can be a blessing to at least one person out there. |
