My passion in life is to serve the One and Only God and to teach my 6 children to love and worship the Lord. I am new to homeschooling and trying to find as much information possible for homeschooling and other family's success in homeschooling. I am open to ideas, suggestions, comments, etc.

I want to teach them from the word of God and speak life into them and show them love so much. I have always worked many hours and my children were in school and daycare all day that I really did not ever see them. Now that we have completely changed our lifestyle and have started homeschooling, I am getting to know my children and I love it!!! BUT I am also struggling very much to make homeschooling enjoyable for them. They are not enjoying it at all! I am not sure what I am doing wrong and don't know how to change this but I want to make sure they are learning everything they need to learn but also enjoying being home. It is like a culture shock for us at this point. The major thing that is a struggle is the babies are running around the house when I am trying to help the older ones and when I am working with the 3 and 4 year old the older ones refuse to work on their own and each one wants me to do each problem with them. Even though I explained to each one what to do they still wont work on their own. Am I the only one struggling with this issue? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem? |
