Sitting with her head down,
Beaten, bruised, and broken,
She utters no sound as the tears beging to flow,
No one will save her, no one even cares,
Screaming inside,
Bleeding inside,
A flood of tears fall down,
Surrounding herself in pain,
She does not know this girl,
Sitting in the corner,
Beaten, bruised, and broken,
Someone lifts her head,
And presses their lips against hers,
He smiles, and brings her to her feet,
He wipes away all her tears and tells her not to cry,
She falls into him, wrapped in his warm embrace,
He saved her, He cared,
Standing with her rescuer,
In the middle of the room,
No longer beaten, bruised or broken. |
