About Me:
This is a blog where I am posting my history homework. So, if you don't want to be reading my papers, this probably isn't the best place to come. But, if you want to learn about what I've been learning about American history, come visit. This country was founded on Christianity. The Declaration of Independence states: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." The Puritans fled to America in search of religious freedom. When dry, preachers rose up and revived the faith, becoming America's Great Awakening. If you have any thoughts, please leave a comment.

Patrick Henry After struggling in learning history last year in school, I have decided this year to learn US history at home. It is difficult in school to learn about the faith this country was based upon because of the teacher's beliefs in "seperation of church and state". Well, at home, I now have the freedom to learn about American history as it really happened - including learning about the great faith that people such as George Washington showed and led this country on. Here is where I will be posting movie and book and reports on people, groups, and events of American history.
