About Me:
I have been married to a most wonderful man (Matthew) for 8 years. We met and married in less than five months! Best decision of my life (after recieving the Lord, of course.)
The biggest change in homeschooling is not having my mother to lean on. She passed away two years ago from colon cancer. She's been gone for just over 2 years.
Andrea will be 5 Jan. 6. We felt it best to start school early. She has been ready for a long time. I also thought the structured time with her would be helpful after having recently delivered a beautiful baby brother. She's had a hard time adjusting.
I'm very thankful to be able to homeschool. It is certainly challenging at times, but that's just part of the journey. I can see that God is using this to change ME. That's a good thing.

I enjoy a good cup of tea, coffee or cocoa and great reading material- the bible, a good book or mag. I long for that peaceful moment alone. When I have time to myself, I like to hike. I also enjoy singing and teaching. I am also a health nut... love to bake my own bread and muffins! I even grind the flour! In fact, I'll be making some today! I do, however, hate the mess I have to clean up afterwards!
