Why God would ever give someone like me these blessings, I will never know, for I surely do not deserve what I have. (just ask my mother-in-law) I am an avid speed reader. I am entering my 15th year as an AWANA leader. I am certified to teach in any postion including commander. I have spent most of the years with 3-6th grade girls but lately I have been blessed enough to teach the 24/7 high schoolers. I can NOT STAND animals in the house. I do not like them in general. I do NOT like seeing them abused, I just do not care for them outside of a zoo. I can stand the hermit crabs. God has proven He has a sense of humor by giving me children who are animal lovers. They know me on sight and laugh about me at the pet store. I have exhausted my library's supply of them. I enjoy decorating cakes (I have taken all of the Wilton decorating classes and I own over 100 cake pans) and have won several ribbons from the state fair for my cakes. I am an avid reader and currently own somewhere between 3, 500 and 4, 000 books (we stopped counting several years ago) I also collect My Little Pony from the 80's. I have well over 100 of them and several playsets. I am a huge transformers fan. Yes, I am a girl, it was one of the very few good memories I have from my childhood. I would run home from school to watch the cartoon with my baby bro. I am a history and science buff. Before I had kids (before my brain deteriorated) I could tell you how DNA replicated down to the last helicase, now I am not sure I could even explain what a helicase does. I love and use to be very involved in politics. I do not have the time anymore. I miss listening to Rush. He always challanged me to think. And I am an absolutly HORRID SPELLER. I have accepted that. If you are a good speller, I envy you. Do not email me to fuss at me for spelling errors. I know they are there. Its ok. I also love to listen to Christmas music all year long. If you visit me in May, you may hear "Joy to the World" coming from my cd player. Why only enjoy beautiful music during one month a year?
