About Me:
I'm a Catholic homeschooling mom of five (ds7, dd5, ds3, dd2, and a baby boy). You can find our curriculum on the blog. My husband and I have been married for nine years. He is a professor and studies/teaches about contaminant transport in the environment. I have an MS in geology and used to teach at a local university. I also love to swim and competed in the sport for many years. Ten years ago I didn't think I would ever end up being Catholic or having so many children, but here I am. Both have been a great blessing. Every day brings many opportunities to grow in faith, hope & love and to exercise the abilities that God gave me to be patient and resourceful. An ideal day for me would be to first go to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament, spend the morning doing things around the house with the children, spend the afternoon outside hiking and swimming, and go out with my husband in the evening, stopping by the adoration chapel again on the way home to give thanks to the Lord. Occasionally I have the opportunity to do this and I am so grateful for this.
