About Me:
I am head over heels in love with my very handsome husband!!!! We have been together for over 10 years. We met on a blind date, my very first blind date....his too! We both were divorced with custody of our boys from our previous marriage. I had a 3 yr old boy and he had an 8 yr old boy. We both had not so great ex-spouses. We could totally relate to each other. We both wanted the same thing......a "boring all-American Christian family"!! Oh how sweet the sound!!! NO DRAMA!! No drugs, no cheating, no partying, and no beating. Blending a family does have some drama. It was all worth it. We have been married for 6 years. My step-son is 18 and out on his own and my 12 yr old is homeschooling with me. I have been homeschooling him since the last half of 4th grade. He went to Pensacola Christian Academy from K4 through the first half of 4th grade. I pulled him out due to a terrible teacher. She was border line abusive. The education was awesome, but that teacher REALLY needed to retire. His others were pretty good. It wasn't too terrible, it did bring me to homeschool him. I had NEVER thought to do that!! I had always said if I had a child I would send him to a private school ....no public school! I never dreamed I could homeschool him. I had heard of homeschool....but very little. Best decision I have ever made.

I love homeschooling my son. I have a true passion for learning. When I was younger I didn't appreciate the knowledge as I do now. I was more concerned with my clothes, make-up and hair. I hope to pass the joy to my son.....he doesn't care how his hair looks.....yet! Also I LOVE, LOVE books. Oh my goodness......I'm out of room!!!!
