About Me:
I have been married to Shannon for almost 15 years--and hope to enjoy many more! I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mommy to four beautiful girls who range in age from 3 to 13. I have lived in rural Alabama all of my life--except 6 months in the 8th grade. I was educated as a language arts teacher for secondary grades, but have never worked in the public school system. I love reading, and I love (trying) to learn foreign languages. For fun, I like to curl up with a good book and a tall glass of iced tea, or to get outside and play with my girls. I also enjoy board games, and family sing-alongs. For the past two years I have also been a volunteer soccer coach for children under the age of six in our local community league--a position that I absolutely love!
