I am blessed to be a full-time mother and to educate our children at home! We love the freedom and flexibility to individually tailor our children's education and interests.
Earl Grey is my favorite tea.
4Him is my favorite Christian group.
"Be Thou My Vision" and "In Christ Alone" are my two top favorite hymns. Youtube them both!
I LOVE Celtic music.
The fragrance of the flowers on butterfly bushes are my favorite! So sweet and so unique! Especially the deep purples ones!
Garden daisies, Shasta Daisies, white calla lilies, pansies and crocuses are my favorite flowers.
I love deep discussions and appreciate people who do as well. People who are not afraid to discuss religion or politics and not flame are a rare find and I especially treasure discussions with them.
Fall is my favorite season! I love the mist, fog, foliage, rain, drinking hot coco on the porch swing, curling up in a blanket next to a glowing fire, the fragrance of apples and spice, the welcoming warmth of candles, the sound and smell of rain, the sound of the wind in the tops of the trees (reminds me of the ocean), seeing the pink noses and rosy cheeks on my children, watching my children splash in the puddles and jump in the leaf piles, the fullness of the falls at our favorite state park, having oatmeal prepared on such drizzly days for my husband when he comes home for his lunch break (at breakfast time!), how the sun peaks out from behind the clouds and adds golden hues to the autumn colors, the sound of crispy leaves under our feet, and how the rain makes everything appear fresh and new!
