About Me:
I am a 2nd generation homeschooler living on a small farm in SW Missouri with my husband and 5 children, ages 5, 6, 8, 11 & 14. My husband and I have been married for 15 years and we have always homeschooled our children. We have one son who is dyslexic (as is my husband) and one who we have recently discovered probably has Asperger's Syndrome so life is interesting as we all learn to grow and adapt to each other, because the rest of us have our quirks too! Ha, ha!
I have been a a professional photographer for about 19 years. I currently work out of my home, mostly doing weddings and senior, family and children's portraits because it keeps me close to home :) My passion is photojournalism with the writing and traveling mixed in! I love and prefer film but have been slowly learning digital. I am also enjoying learning to make slide show CD-ROM's & DVD's of my client's photos.
I would like to find a candle scent that recaptures the smell of photo chemicals in the darkroom while I sit at the computer and work on photos in Photoshop :) Well? If they can have a scent called 'Clean Linen', why not???
I am also the co-advisor of a homeschool co-op's student newspaper, teaching 7th-12th graders various aspects of journalism.

My Interests: (13)
History, art, law, politics, photojournalism, homesteading and herbal medicine are a few of my interests. I love being outdoors, playing tennis, swimming, biking, baking, writing and spending time with friends and family. I am also enjoying learning Scottish Country Dances, English Country Dances, contra dances and square dances with my husband and children.
