What is Gods Plans?

Hello Everyone,I found something out today and I was very disappointed and disturbed about it and wanted to know someone elses thoughts on the subject before I go crazy.Ok here it is; I know a couple who isn't very well off, don't have a jobs because they are very lazy, and depend on welfare, and not at all very good parents, they already have a 6 year old that was taken away from them a few years ago because of abuse and neglect, now they have a 6 month old little boy and are very terrible parents, now I can't say if they hit or abuse him but I know they lose their temper and can't stand to hear him cry so they close him up somewhere etc.He doesn't wear warm clothes if any atall sometimes, doesn't get feed all the time, isn't allowed to have toys and boy can I go on,well to go on with the subject I just found out they are expecting twins in March,a little boy and girl. Now I am still a Christian in learning,so what I wanted to know is why would God let something like this go on knowing they don't deserve children? There are people out there who want children so bad but can't have any or people like me who have many miscarrages before a maricle finally happens and finally have a successful pregnancy, why does God let things like this happen??? Why does he give babies to people who don't want them or to bad people and no babies to people who really want them and are wonderful parents???Can someone please help me understand Gods plans in all of this?Thank you in advance!

Nov. 9, 2006 - I am no expert....

I do not claim to be any expert on what God's plans are. I have a lot of "why's" in my book too. However, Father Joe had come over to my house one Sunday to watch football and some tennis. I hope our conversation with him helps you.

During the course of yelling at the screen (my Jaguars were losing)...some of my friends were grilling Father Joe. They asked him all sorts of questions...it was really interesting. Somewhere in the conversation we got onto abortion and all sorts of different scenarios where one might think God would understand.
Father Joe gave US an example...there are nuns working as missionaries in Africa. Several of them have been raped and beaten. Some of these nuns have become pregnant. What do you do? Father Joe said that even if the conception of a child is not from the ideal circumstances (like the couple you mentioned above), God knows you before you are born. He knows who you will become. You were MEANT to be. There is a reason for every soul born. There is a reason for them to have those parents...that genetic make up...to be born in that place and at that time.

How can you argue with that? We may not know the whys....there are many, but we know it is all part of God's plan. I guess it is like when your parents said.."because I said so" for a reason...God just said so.

I hope that helps...God bless you for your concern. Keep asking questions...that's the only way to learn. icart

In the beginning God made everything perfect. Adam and Eve didn't know sin. Then after Adam disobeyed God everything changed. Adam brought sin into the world. Romans 5:19 talks about Adam causing all to be made sinners.

God is holy. He can't have any sin around him because he is so holy. God doesn't want this to happen. So, he has made a way to fix this problem. In Romans 5:19 it says that through the obedience of one many shall be made righteous. We can see one man (Adam) bringing sin (all bad things) into the world and "one" bringing righteousness. That "one" is Jesus. John 3:16 says God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. The Bible says that God is not willing that any should perish. (2 Peter 3:9) He doesn't want us to die or go through the pains of this life. So, if a person believes on the Lord then they become "saved" according to Acts 16:31. In the Bible people prayed to God when this happened.

If a person accepts this gift of salvation then they can know for sure that they are going to heaven. When a saved person dies they go to heaven and there will be no sin or worries or problems. God has made a way to fix all this.

In the meantime some people will choose to go through life and reject God. Some people will choose to be forgiven of their sins through Jesus' death on the cross. The "prince of this world" (satan) reigns on earth for now but he will be defeated and thrown into hell someday along with all the unsaved people that have rejected Gods gift of salvation.

I don't know if this made sense or not but I guess I am just trying to say this is not God's fault. It is not His will for children to get hurt and suffer. He has been nice enough to give us a free will so we can choose what to do. He could have made us robots that did whatever he says but he didn't. He lets us choose Him or evil. It is to bad that all these people get hurt in the meantime. Blame the devil. Don't blame God. He loves us soooo much that he sacraficed his ONLY son for us. I know I wouldn't sacrafice any of my children for anybody elses sins. He must really love us. In heaven there will not be any sin or problems!!!

Now that I have written a whole blog on here I should quit. I hope this answers your question.

Jan. 28, 2007 - God's Plan

I know we do not understand sometimes about God's plan but I know of another mother who is about the same way but my sister got to adopt one of the little girl and she has been such a blessing to us. When we got her she was withdrawn cause her mother never paid any attention to her. Proped up on a pillow to feed her and she was realy dirty all the time. But now she is two and the most out going and happy little girl in the world she is silly and every one in town thinks she is the most amazing little girl. Now the mother has had another baby and is pregnant again and I don't know what will happen to them hopfully someone will adopt them too.But I Thank God everyday for the one my sister has. You know Joyce Myers was abused as a child and now look at what she has accomplished!! God knows what is happened and some how he is looking out for them even if we do not understand. One day we will stand before him and we can ask him about it. Please don't get discouraged just pray and God will answer. Because watches over the little children.
