What a wonderful surprise my dear blogger friend Laurie at Tea Cups in the Garden gave me Tuesday. She awarded me with the ‘You Make Me Smile’ Award.  It really was an extraordinary blessing to me.  After she notified me she was giving it to me, I told her the story of how when I was a young girl I had made a list of goals for my life.  Right after becoming a wife and a mother, my strongest desire was to make people smile.  I’m not the comedic type, but I do enjoy the sound of laughter and love to see people smile.  It warms me to the bone to know that through my little space here on the web that I have made someone smile.  Thank-you so much for confirming my goal.
