Tuesday, March 27, 2007 - A Simple Prayer

Posted in Poetry

Thank-you, Lord, for this day,

A chance to start anew.

May Your Word guide my way,

In all I say and do.

Help me, God, to do what’s right,

In word, in thought, in deed.

Let my life reflect your light,

For everyone to see.

Show me, Father, how to be,

The very best I can.

My life does not belong to me,

This day is in Your Hand.

Hi Ginny,

First I want to thank you for your compliment. That is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me! And I mean that sincerely. Secondly, I would like to say how sorry I am for your loss. I realize how important a pet can be to a family. I have had several animals that I have lost and the pain is overwhelming.

I hope that you will feel comfort over the loss of you sweet family members and maybe in the future you will find similar joy with a new animal to love!

Blessings,
Hallie

Thanks so much for the comment on my blog, it was such a relief. Sometimes you put things out there and you think gosh I could be completely wrong here but you agreed with me and that always makes me happy :) I have enjoyed reading your blog.
