Proverbs 22:6 Academy

Wednesday, October 24, 2007 - Seeking Him

Posted in Poetry

With outstretched arms,

I reach for you,

To ease my weary mind,

To take the burdens

of the day,

And leave them all behind.

With childlike vision,

I search for you,

To open up my eyes,

To show me all you

Have for me

And lead me to the prize.

With gladdened heart

I sing to you

To praise your work in me

To rejoice in all

You have done

To set my spirit free

Thank you for sharing your poetry--He is amazing--I think of all His children--He's working on each one of us, preparing us for the Day of Christ, when His work in us will be complete.
