Thursday, June 26, 2008 - Life Celebration

Posted in Poetry

Wonders of wonder,
Beauty above beauty,
Behold God’s awesome Creation.
Treasures upon treasures,
Grace abounding Grace,
In a splendid celebration.

The Whisper of Peace,
Soothing the weary,
A broken soul safely at rest.
Indescribable joy,
Overflowing the heart,
In our Father’s given best.

Reach beyond reaching,
Touch the untouchable,
His Precious Hand gently guiding.
Moment by moment,
Life after living,
In His Arms always residing.

Rejoice in Comfort,
Hear the Song of His Voice,
Each day is a new beginning.
Think not on the past,
Rejoice in His Mercy,
Each life is worth celebrating.

Beautiful!

My favorite is:
"The Whisper of Peace,
Soothing the weary,
A broken soul safely at rest."

Beautiful! It almost has a hymn-like tone to it.

Glad to see that you are taking Hallie's course. I would love to, but I don't think this is the right time in my life to join that. =) That is the sweetest picture! The kittens look like our Ripley...so watch out!
