Monday, December 15, 2008 - New Day

Dewdrop kisses across the grass
Glisten silver before my eyes
Golden sunshine reaches its hand
To touch the morning skies.
Yesterday is washed away
Night has gone to sleep
A brand new start is given to me
With the promises it keeps.
The day calls out with whispered hope
No shackles to bind my steps
I trust in Him to guide my way
Through a day with no regrets.
May His Glory shine as bright as He
Through my every word and deed
May I share His Love with all I meet
And His honor be guaranteed.
No stormy skies can move my path
No thunder can cause me fear
His arms hold me close to Him
For He is always near.
