Monday, January 5, 2009 - Christmas 2008

The holidays were wonderful. We went over my parents’ house Christmas Eve for traditional meat pie and had a feast.

We brought another tradition along with us and the kids opened their pajamas there instead of home. 

We included my oldest’s girlfriend in our family tradition as he has indicated to us that she will be soon part of our family. 

Christmas morning we waited for my son and his girlfriend to arrive before we settled into sharing our gifts with one another. 

It was so much fun as we took turns enjoying each other’s reactions to their treasures. 

My parents came for a turkey feast for lunch which came out beautifully if I do say so myself. Look at the beautiful bunk bed my father made for my daughter who received the American Girl doll she had been wanting for years.

We were truly blessed by this family time.

Thank you so much for the Christmas card. I am sorry I haven't gotten around recently. We have been busy and things have been a bit crazy. Glad you all had a great Christmas.
