I know that I have been MIA all week and lately my posts have been sporadic at best. As you already know, last year I began selling my e-copybooks in the Old Schoolhouse Store. It has been an awesome experience and has led to other opportunities. Those adventures have included creating all the copywork pages for the Schoolhouse Planner Modules and other TOS products, writing an article for the Winter 2008-2009 Old Schoolhouse Magazine, and working part time as a Schoolhouse Store Administrator. Add this to homeschooling middle and high school students, homemaking, being a Girl Scout leader, wife, cook and chief bottle washer and you can see that life is very full for me. And I know it is full for all of you.
My blog’s 2 year anniversary is only a few days away so I wanted to host a giveaway in celebration. I wanted to do something special for those of you who visit my blog on a regular basis. From now until February 17, 2009, you can download my newest e-copybook, A Copybook of 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, just in time for Valentine’s Day, here for free (sorry this offer has expired). Here is a brief description of the book.
- Each page has a King James verse from the passage with space for the student to copy the passage. This book includes three sections, one for each level of handwriting skills: manuscript, transitional manuscript, and cursive.
- The passages are written with guidelines aiding in the proper formation of letters.
- On each page is a block that can be used by the student to illustrate the passage.
- The passages can be used for penmanship practice, memory work and/or Bible study.
- There are handwriting charts and practice pages included in the back of the book.
