I read an interesting phrase on Mary's blog called the "Mother Culture." The concept can be found here. I think we women often set our own needs aside in order to meet the needs of others. While that can be good to be so giving of ourselves, if we forget to nurture ourselves occasionally, we get "lost" in the shuffle. Take time to read the concept of Mother Culture and see if perhaps you need to make some changes so you can nurture yourself.
With working full time, homeschooling, and managing my home with very little help or support, I find the best way to nurture myself is by making sure I spend time in the Word. It helps me to adjust my focus and to take my thoughts captive.
