Restaurante de Herbert

Tonight my kids decided to turn our library into a restaurant. It was so cute. 9 year old Lauren made a business plan, which my financial advisor hubby thought was amazing. She decided in order to start her restaurant she'd need food, tables and chairs, and employees. The kids went through the pantry and made menus. Then they set the kid table and the first diners arrived shortly thereafter.  Here's 5 year old Matthew and 2 year old Michael looking over the menu . "Hmmm , what to have ~ what to have."  Lauren was wearing my apron that I bought from Leanne Ely's website www.savingdinner.com She has one that reads, "I'm Saving Dinner 2" but it was dirty. Mine fits her pretty well.  She waited on the boys, then fixed their meal and brought it to them. It was so cute! They sure had fun! Michael was clapping and saying, "Yeah! SUPPER!!!"  I love when they spend the evening having fun, without fighting.  I thought their creativity was worth sharing. |
