Photos from Matthew's 6th Birthday Party

Wow did we have fun at Matthew's birthday party!  It was 106 degrees so having a swimming party was the best thing we could have done.  I didn't get all of the photos I would have liked, but here are a few of my favorites.

I just missed getting a shot of him blowing out his candles.  I'll have to work on my "trigger" finger. 


I'm adding this photo in just for fun.  As I was cleaning up after the party, the label on the cake box caught my attention.  I looked at the weight of the cake and thought to myself, "Hey, this will make good blog material!"  When Matthew was born he weighed 6 lbs. 10.5 oz.  How coincidental is that?

That is a coincidence! Isn't it funny how their birthdays are so different to us. To them it is a party, cake and friends. To us we think back to what we were doing 6 years ago. Pushing! Looking at their tiny faces for the first time and falling in love. Your baby is adorable and 106 is too hot for anything but swimming. Good plan!
