We had a field trip scheduled for today to see the state's largest fire station. This is 15 minutes from my house so we signed up. I was late leaving and then got behind slow traffic. When we finally arrived, we were at the wrong place. I had to ask 3 people before finding directions to where we were supposed to be. We were 15 minutes late to the field trip. The firefighter was demonstrating his suit and posing for pictures with the kids. Then the kids got to sit in a firetruck. Before all the kids could get  a turn, guess what?!? The firemen were called out to a fire. We know that's what they do, but it did cut our outing short. So what was supposed to be a 45 minute to one hour tour was about 10 minutes for me. I did manage to get pictures of T and K in the trucks though.
