Paths of Righteousness

test results!

I almost forgot. The boys took the standardized tests in May. Because of several situations, we didn't get the results back until last week. I was so impressed! We do these tests every year but I really was worried about T. This was his second time to test and the struggle with reading had me nervous.

T scored right where he should be. I was so relieved he wasn't behind! He scored 3 grades ahead in math and a little higher than that in listening. The little stinker! So many times I think he doesn't hear or me isn't listening. I know better now.

Z scored at almost 11th grade across the board. He was in 6th when he tested. Several things (such as reading, vocabulary, comprehension) were post high school level. He's always done well on the tests, but I think he made a huge jump this time! I was surprised because I thought last school year was our worst year of homeschooling as far as being consistent. We were so unusually busy and it "hurt" us or so I thought.

Okay. I think I'm done updating for today. I really mean to update more often!

Greart to hear your children are doing so well. God is so good and faithful We had a year that wasn't very consistant at all. But, my son did great on his test. this was a couple of years ago, when my daughter didn't have to test. I just love that. I love homeschooling!

The tests are administered by a major university which is homeschool friendly. They send them off to be scored. I never see the test; I only get the results in the mail.

About Me

I am a homeschooling mom of 3. I have been married for almost 15 years to the love of my life and best friend. We are on a path of life I never thought we'd be on, but God has put us on it. "God's grace will never lead you where His grace can never keep you." I am finding that to be true each and every day. Come on in and get a little peek into our lives......
