Our day was a nice, lazy, family day. The biggest thing we did was take our yearly family photos. We take them at home with our digital camera. Usually we send out wallet sizes to people, though this year I'm not sure if we can afford it. We'll just have to see how that goes. But I thought I would share with you our photos. I cropped one of the photos we didn't use for my avatar. I think it looks o.k. Other than that, we just had fun. The kids played outside with their new friends in the neighborhood. They are really enjoying playing in the neighborhood. Paul and I relaxed and watched a movie. Then we took the photos, now I'm getting ready to work on my cross-stitch projects I have to finish by Christmas. So not much blogging today, just mainly pictures. Thanks again for all your encouragement.
Those are very nice pictures. Perhaps people won't mind having them sent via email attachments and then they can print them off if they want. I am trying to figure out how to make cards less expensive this year for Christmas. Just the stamps alone will be over $40. Jeff just came home from filling up the van and truck. He said that cost more than the groceries we bought this week!!!! Do I want to buy stamps for Christmas cards or do I want to fill up my gas tank? I am thinking I will send ecards to everyone who has an email address and paper ones that the kids make to my older family members. I think everyone will understand. Life is very expensive right now and getting more so.

I love the pictures ! I am sorry that I have been missing in action. I got started with catching up. I will have to come back and do more. I will lift you up in prayer about finances. I am have to be careful myself.
Very Nice Pictures! How fun to have a fireplace too! Oh, I never thought about that - the price of stamps - and oh yes, the annual Christmas letter. That WILL be pricy! For some reason from Nov. 1-on, it seems like the days just fly and I'm always caught off guard/not ready for Christmas. My mom just told me last night that she is done with her Christmas shopping and I have only gotten 1 thing - for my nephew who is 2. I don't even have a list done - AUGH. I better get on the stick!
This blog is so I can share my journey with the Lord, my journey as a wife and mother, and my journey as a homeschool mom. I pray that you will see the Lord in my life through happy and sad times, and that this blog glorifies the Lord.
This is an award and tag free zone, thank you.
