Well, we got all of our baking done. We got a bit sidetracked today with some errands today, but by the end of the day we had our pumpkin pie and apple crisp done. No pictures sorry. Just too crazy. Paul has made it through his 3-13 hour days. Truly I don't know how he did it. It was such a big sacrifice, but he did it for us, and I'm truly blessed by him. He will be home in about 35 minutes. Then we get to stay up late and spend some time together. We've been letting the kids stay up late too. It's been a lot more relaxed this Thanksgiving than we've had in a long time. It's been great. I hope that the rest of our holiday season is this nice.
We were blessed with some extra money, just a little bit, enough to get a couple of extra things to eat with Thanksgiving. I got the makings for a dill dip I like to make, plus some more biscuits and a pizza. OK, the pizza isn't for Thanksgiving dinner, it was for us tonight, a break before Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you Lord for that awesome blessing. I have another big blessing the Lord has given us, but I'm going to save blogging about until around Sunday. I want to have pictures when blog, and I won't have those until then.
Just like the rest of you, I don't know if I'll be on tomorrow or not. I pray you all have a great day.
Hope you have a relaxing day today! My folks went home this morning; the kids went to their respective homes late last night (they live in town), and the 2 boys at home went to bed...sometime. I'm doing laundry and vacumning up cracker crumbs and the occasional stray piece of turkey the 5 little ones dropped along the way.
We had a wonderful, blessed time.
This blog is so I can share my journey with the Lord, my journey as a wife and mother, and my journey as a homeschool mom. I pray that you will see the Lord in my life through happy and sad times, and that this blog glorifies the Lord.
This is an award and tag free zone, thank you.
