My days keep getting away from me, and I'm forgetting to blog. We just got back from church and I have some time, so here I am. The fudge turned out good. We had a friend over on Thursday and he had some fudge and said it tasted good. Plus my niece and nephew had some and they liked it too. I have some pictures too.
Church was good. I met 3 homeschool mom's tonight. They were all very nice and they'll all be there at the Christmas party Monday night. It was nice to meet them. The worship and sermon was excellent. We are really starting to like it there. We haven't gone over the finances yet, but hopefully tomorrow. I wasn't feeling real good Friday, so we never went over them. I do think we'll be able to join the homeschool group, well I hope we will be able too.
We had a little snow today, so the kids and Paul shoveled the driveway and sidewalk. It was the first time the kids ever shoveled snow, they actually had fun. Though the snow melted within a couple of hours. The kids are quite bummed about that. I'm sure we'll have snow soon, then I'll be complaining about it. But right now, we are all wishing we had some snow.
The other day I cut Paulie's hair. I use to cut his hair all the time, but then we started taking him to a hairdresser. When we started taking him to a hairdresser, he started getting a 'high and tight' cut. It's with a shaver and it is two different lengths. I never thought I could cut it like that. But he needed a hair cut really bad, and we just didn't have the money to take him, so I gave it a try. And it worked. I have some pictures of me cutting his hair, but I realized I didn't have a 'after' photo. He's in bed right now, so I'll have to take one later. But it looks just like it usually does. I was just happy that it worked. I was so nervous. To shave his head all one length is no big deal. To try to shave it two different lengths, seemed hard. But it wasn't to hard. We'll see if I do it again next month or take him to get it done again.
Well, that's what's been going on the past few days. Not a whole lot, but enough to keep us busy. I hope to get back in the swing of blogging regularly again. For some reason I've gotten out of the habit of blogging every day. But I do try to read all your blogs. I'm sure I'll get back into the swing soon. Here are the pictures of the last few days.
Here's Paulie getting his hair cut. Of course that was just the beginning of the different lengths. I did even out all of his hair.
Here's pictures of my peanut/chocolate squares and my fudge.
And this is them shoveling snow. They were taking turns shoveling, I just happened to snap the picture when Sarah was shoveling.
I am so glad you are meeting other hs moms ! I am really happy you all seem to be settling into your new home. I sure wish I could come over and sample your fudge and peanut squares. [ 0; LOOKS GOOD [0=

So glad to see an update from you. I've been hoping everything is okay.
I'm glad you are starting to make friends! How fun to already know some moms at the Christmas party.
I cut my boys hair when we lived in Mississippi. I take them to the barber now to save the mess. I used to take them out on the front porch and do it. Three boys make a lot of hair ;o !
Hi Miss JoAnn,
I love your photos! The fudge and peanut butter squares are so yummy looking. I'm glad that they turned out good for you and Sarah. The haircut looks good too from where I sit. (lol)
You are doing great at adjusting to all of your new life challenges. Hang in there dear girl.
Snow is so much fun for little ones...not so fun for us, right (-:
Blessings to you my friend,
Mama Karen
Oh, neat that you can cut hair! I've never been brave enough to try it except for slight trimming of long hair.
The fudge and cookies look delicious! Holly
Looks great! I cut my husband's and Ryan's hair. Grace and Trevor's hair have issues that I can't manage. So I save a little money with what I can do. Did you freeze the fudge? It freezes well.

This blog is so I can share my journey with the Lord, my journey as a wife and mother, and my journey as a homeschool mom. I pray that you will see the Lord in my life through happy and sad times, and that this blog glorifies the Lord.
This is an award and tag free zone, thank you.
