Well the past 24 hours has been very interesting, but most importantly, a complete blessing from the Lord. Paul calls me yesterday afternoon and said he received a shipping envelope, one of those cardboard ones, from FedEx at his work. That is very strange that it was addressed to him and sent to his work. The return address says, Santa Claus, Secret Santa, 1 CandyCane Lane, North pole. Ok, now it's getting weird. He opens it up, no note or anything, and the only thing that is in there was a significant amount of cash. Yes, I know, he was shocked too. Paul calls me to tell me about it, and now I'm completely shocked. I know the Lord blesses us mightily, but when you actually see it happen, for some reason, I still get shocked. Then, later last night we got about 6 inches of snow. Paul had to leave around 6:15am this morning, because it's his job to shovel the sidewalk at work. So I fell back asleep and around 7:00am I wake up to a noise in our driveway. As I'm getting out of my bed I realize it's a plow in our driveway. I look outside, and someone is plowing our driveway. We have never set up for anyone to plow our driveway, the kids usually shovel it. Then I remembered one of Paul's co-workers, her husband plows driveways. Sure enough, it was him, just blessing us with a nice plowed driveway. Of course the kids were even more excited about this blessing, because all they had to do was shovel the sidewalk. So we have been completely blessed by the Lord through others. We have no idea who sent it, though we have some guesses. But obviously whoever sent it, doesn't want us to know their identity, so we are leaving it at that. And, truly, whoever sent it, it is from the Lord first and foremost, and that is what we are focusing on. So now we are trying to figure out what to do with it. We want to be good stewards, and yet have a little fun with it too. I know the Lord will help us do both.
I'm not sure how much I'll be blogging the next 4 days, just like most of you, we will be busy. Paul gets off of work early today and doesn't have to go back until Wednesday! We'll be going out and picking up some things we need today, and we have different plans all weekend. I'll be in and out, so I'll try to keep up with everyone as I can. But I had to write and share the Lord's blessings with all of you. We give Him all the glory and we are so thankful for all He's given us this season. Thank you Lord.
Oh JoAnn, that is so wonderful!!!! :) I'm so thrilled for you!!! I know this has been a really hard winter for you, I hope this will help ease some of your burdens. PTL!!! :)
We just had some good fortune ourselves. We decided to help another family in need. Perhaps you might know of a family nearby who could also use a little Christmas cheer. You might be able to give them a small gift.
Enjoy the blessng you received. What a glorious God we have. Merry Christmas!
That is awesome. I know how you feel! We have been showered with special blessings this Christmas. It's like the Lord is saying we have done a good job obeying Him and now He is going to send us a little help!
Have a great weekend. Merry Christmas!

Thank you for the sweet comment you left me, too.
Merry Christmas, dear friend!! Love, Holly
This blog is so I can share my journey with the Lord, my journey as a wife and mother, and my journey as a homeschool mom. I pray that you will see the Lord in my life through happy and sad times, and that this blog glorifies the Lord.
This is an award and tag free zone, thank you.
