~ This is my day ~

Posted in Ramblings
We have been having a very nice, relaxed day.  The thing I think I liked the best is Paul and I talked a lot today.  We do talk a lot, I don't want you to think we don't.  But with all the overtime lately, it just seems like we haven't had any deep talks.  So it was nice today that we have had quite a few deep and encouraging talks.  The kids have had a great time too.  Paulie playing some Wii and Sarah blogging.  Then they played outside in the snow.  Now we are finishing watching the NFL playoff game between Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers.  We'll be having some dinner soon, then it's off to church tonight.  To me, that is a good day.

I can't believe this, but I haven't looked at curriculum stuff at all today.    I am seriously looking at the CQLA, Christian Quality Language Arts, program.  It seems very interesting, and I guess the only way I know is to try it.  You can download a month for free to try, I think I'll do that.  Sarah can take a break from her current LA program, and give that a try.  I might even try one for Paulie, just to see if he's ready for a Language Arts program yet.  I think that is something I'll do tomorrow, print those pages out so we can try them and see how it goes.

OK, well I need to get going.  The family is getting hungry, I need to get dinner on the table.  I hope you are all having a great day.

Hi JoAnn,
Glad you are having a good day! Us too. Those talks with the hubby can be very nice, can't they. I like that too. We are watching football but since it's so one sided, I decided to take a break and now it's time to get out to the barn. I had to go out earlier and get the chickens tucked in the coop as we had a fox running around our field, so at least that part is done. Have a good evening & Sunday.
Blessings,
Jane

I am so glad you've had a nice day! Thank you for dropping by my nature blog. I am having a blast. It's an outlet for stress I think. It helps me keep my mind off of other things. I have to tell you about a blessing I received. A friend of mine is selling me a gently used copy of the language arts program I want for Grace. The first 7 lessons are used, but the rest of the book is blank. I am very happy not to have to mess with ebay or shipping costs! That is a blessing! And I have them now!
Have a wonderful Sunday. We may get a little snow!

We heard the collective groan coming from the Pacific NW, mostly from my mom!! But we are also Packer fans (having family in both states), so it was not a total loss for us. Just seemed like Hawks deserved it a bit more than the Packers.
