Yep, I changed both of my blogs today. We've had a nice relaxing weekend, and I had some extra time to play on the computer while spending time with my family. So what to do when you have extra time on the computer? Play with your template of course. This is a bit more bright colors than I usually do, but Jenn is starting to rub off on me and I'm trying to use more color. Thanks for the inspiration Jenn.
We had a really blessed and relaxing day. We didn't go anywhere, and just stayed home and watched football and enjoyed each other. Only one of my teams won, New York Giants. But Indy Colts lost, Regardless, we always have a great time watching. Then we had to play a few rounds of Uno Attacks. The kids got that for Christmas from their Grandma, and we all really enjoy it. It gives a nice twist Uno. I don't remember who won the most rounds, since it wasn't me. I think it was Paulie.
I printed out the sample pages of the Character Quality Language Art program. Paul and I liked the look of it, and Sarah is excited to try it. I never really know until I try it. But the idea behind it I like a lot. I just have to see how it's going to work for us. I think it will be better than the Abeka we are using right now. So that will be something fun to try this week. I only printed out one weeks worth right now. You can print out a months worth for free. If we like this week's, then I'll print out next weeks later.
So that has been my day. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm off to spend the last bit of the evening with hubby.
I wish I could figure out how to do all this stuff. Well, I'm sure I can, but I wish I knew HOW. I love the changes. And, it sounds like you had a beautiful family weekend, enjoying relationship with each other. Isn't it refreshing to just hang out?!

Very colorful and summer-ish! I did the same thing yesterday, changed my template while they watched football! You asked what language arts program I chose. It is Learning Language Arts Through Literature. I am trying this because Grace is frustrated with Abeka. Ryan is OK with Abeka for now. I don't know if this is the one for us, but because it was almost free, I thought I should give it a try.

We looked at that Program too. Tori liked it by the samples, but she blew thru it so fast that I decided to use something else. It's a good program though.

I tried to go on the website you had the link for, they need to work on their site! The words were all on top of each other. Perhaps they are already working on it. I know just how frustrating it can be to try to sort through all that code and make sense of it!

Yesterday I took the boys to curling practice and they are talking uniform now and what they will need to do and have for the BC Winter Games. [0=
