Well, I don't normally blog this late, but I'm still on the computer, so why not. We had a good day today. School went pretty smooth, only a little bit of complaining and such. The kids got to play outside for a bit earlier today. It's still pretty cold and windy, but they have fun anyway. Our driveway is practically all ice (we need to get ice melter tomorrow) so the kids were all sliding down the little incline we have on our driveway. They had lots of fun.
I finished our taxes today and got them filed tonight. I was waiting on one of Paul's W2's, which came today. So once I got that and cleared up a tax question I had, I got them filed. We are getting more than we thought, what a blessing. Paul said I can get the Paint Shop Pro v8 software that I want. I am extremely excited about that.
Tomorrow we are all going to the library, even Paul. He hasn't had a chance to see the library out here yet, so he wants all of us to go together. Plus we still have a gift certificate for the local mall that Paul got for Christmas. And they have a Barnes & Noble with a Starbucks there. It's going to be a fun family day going out together.
Then on Sunday we'll be watching the Super Bowl. We might have some friends over, not sure yet. Either way, it will be fun. Paul and I are going for opposite teams. That always makes for a loud but fun game. So it should be a fun weekend.
Which team are you for? I'm not sure I will be watching. The first Sunday of every month we have a fellowship meal after church and Samantha is helping to set up and serve.
We also dont' have cable. Is it on one of the networks? I thought Jim told me we wouldn't be able to catch it with the rabbit ears.
It's getting so nothing is free anymore.
Sorry I haven't commented for awhile. I'm glad things are going better. That will be cool having Paint Shop Pro! :) Maybe you could make a little side business doing graphics. I've been considering that Teaching Textbooks for math also. I want Hubby to look over it good before I decide because he is really the mathematician in the family and when it comes down to it, now that PC is getting into higher math, Hubby will be the one that has to help him if we really get in a jam. My algebra/ geometry/ statistics and probabilities doesn't quite hold up to Hubby's calculus and trig!!! Oh, well, I have him beat on history and English! lol! :)
Sounds like you are going to have a great weekend! What a blessing to get a bigger refund. My dh just told me that if the economic stimulus package is passed that is being worked on, we all should be getting a big check this summer! Yippee!
