~ I can't think of a title ~

Posted in Ramblings
You know, I've never really sure what to title entries sometimes, or how to start them.  Do I say "Hi everyone", or do I just jump into what I'm going to write about.  Hmmmm, I will have to think on that one.

We had a good day today.  The kids finished their lessons well.  We did a placement test for Sarah to see if she is going to start the 7th grade math next fall with Teaching Textbooks.  She did great and she will be starting with their 7th grade curriculum.    We were wondering if she would be able to or not because she's been having a few problems with 6th Saxon.  But she did great and she's so happy about it.  I'm also excited because I just found out Teaching Textbooks is coming out with a 4th grade version this summer.  I've been thinking Paulie might excel with this math program, but he's not ready for 5th grade math.  But 4th grade, maybe.  I'll have to wait and see what the placement test is like.  I'll also be ordering the kids language arts program, CQLA sometime this month.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to start Paulie on it yet or not, but I do think I want to order it so whenever I'm ready for it next year I will have it.  It will be on sale this month, that's why I want to order it now.  I've pretty much bought everything else that I need for the kids for next year, so I feel quite happy that I've got things pretty well set.

I'm going to go to a new woman's bible study tomorrow night.    I'm a little nervous about it.  I always get that way when I'm starting a new one.  But it should be good.  We are going to do Woman of Faith bible study, "Encouraging each other".  It sounds like fun.  It's at a woman's house (the last one I went to was at the church), so it should be a bit more intimate.  I think the only 'issue' I found was the parking.  We drove by the house last Sunday, so I was sure where it was.  But the city hasn't plowed well over there, and there is hardly any parking.  So I'm hoping I can find something close and won't have to walk to far in an unknown neighborhood.  I'm sure it will be fine.  I'll let you know how it goes.

I guess that's about it for my day.  I hope that you all had a great and blessed day.

I hope that all went well at the Bible study. I could probably use a good women's study also - maybe in the fall... Jeff is my math expert and he really liked teaching textbooks. My sis in law gave us videotext and so that is what we will use - I mean it is free.:) Have a great day.

Oh, I do hope your Bible study is a good time of fellowship and being in the Word. I know what you mean about worrying about parking. Hopefully that will work itself out. Is your back feeling better?
