~ I have time to blog :) ~

Posted in Family
I can't believe it, I actually have some time to blog.    I finally have my website pretty set the way I want, for now.  I still have to add some more content, but I think I finally have the layout like I want it.  I put the new logo on my blog if you want to go and look at it.  It also has a new URL.  I needed to shorten the one I had.  So some changes, but I think it's pretty 'set' right now.

Our lessons have gone great this week.  We are really in a flow of things, and I'm enjoying it.  They seem to be learning, and enjoying what they are doing.  I know it's still early in our year, but I'm very happy with how it's gone so far.  And I'm surprised with how busy we have been lately.  Seriously, I use to think I would like some more things to do.    It's all been a blessing, truly.  I'm just trying to get use to it all again.  We use to be very busy when we lived in Illinois, but that was all for the wrong reasons, it was to please man, not God.  This time, though we are busy, we have been very selective and making sure the Lord has called us to do everything we are doing.  Plus, just getting use to new things, we were invited to a few parties over the weekend, that kept us pretty busy.  Now things are slowing down, so I have time to get use to our new schedule.

The marriage bible study/seminar we are going to at our church was great on Tuesday.  It's a 14 week seminar, so it was just the beginning on Tuesday.  I think the Lord is really going to show Paul and I lots of things through this time.  It's called Love & Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, and though I've never heard of him before, I like him so far.  We get into small groups after the DVD time and have a discussion on what we just learned, that's a great time.  We are getting to know others during this time, and that's always a blessing.

This week and next week my woman's bible study has been canceled, the leader is out of town.  But I'm actually happy about that, it's giving me time to rest up from the past week we've had.

Now, I have time to blog, and I can't think of anything else to write about.  I guess I'll use the rest of my free time reading and commenting on other blogs.  Thank you for those who have left a comment on Paulie's blog, he's been thrilled by them.  If you haven't made it over there, please stop by his blog and leave a comment.  Also, if you could let me know some young boy blogs that are good, I would like Paulie to go to some of them.  Thanks for always checking up on me, and sticking with me, even when I'm busy.

It's not that I don't have the time, I just don't remember. It's that old age thing right?

Hope all is well with you and your family. We're all fine here and settling into the new year. Norm's job is going well so we feel like a normal family again. (Ok defining Normal around here takes some creative thinking).

Take care, talk soon,
