~ A slow down, YEA!!! ~

Posted in Ramblings
I have a few minutes so I thought I would jump on and blog for a bit before hubby gets home.

Our weeks seem to be flying by sometimes, but they are going good and we are blessed.  The kids lessons are flowing better than I could have ever imagined.    Even today with cleaning, they finished at a good time, and they worked together without fighting.  Always a good thing.  Thank you Lord for things going so well.

I had a pretty mellow weekend, and sat around with hubby watching tv or read a book most of the weekend.  It was great.    I had been so busy the past few weeks, it was nice not having anything I 'had' to do.  I made some chowder on Saturday and chili on Sunday, both in the crock pot.  Yep, we are getting some fall weather again, and both of those were great this weekend.  I cut the guys' hair on Sunday, and we had church on Saturday night.  Other than that, not much happened.

I've been working on some craft items and reading, that's a nice switch.  I enjoy web designing a lot, and of course I've always liked blogging, but it's nice to get off the computer sometimes and do other things.  I think I'm going to work on crocheting some wash cloths, and making a new bookmark for Paul.  I also am putting some other craft things together.  Plus just doing some casual reading.  I haven't done casual reading in a long time.  It was nice to not have to study or anything, just enjoy reading.

Tonight Paul and I have to work on our 'homework' for the marriage seminar tomorrow night, and of course it's Monday night football.    And I have laundry to finish up, so not much going on tonight either.  I know it's sounds sort of boring, but for us it's great.  I hope you are all doing good and now I'm off to try and read some blogs.

Actually, I enjoy your blog so much because you are so settled. I'm really ready to be bored. I wonder if life will ever get back to normal?

Football season has hit our home, too. Every Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Then, there is ESPN and FOX Sports...etc. Got to love those men of ours.

At least you could think of words to describe your week. (lol) I guess it is really good that we have such boring lives right now. OK, boring is a bad choice of words. How about normal. I like that. And I like having nothing to blog about. It could be a lot worse!
Blessings,
Jenn

I love weekends like that! I'm so happy for you that you got a wonderful and relaxing weekend! I'm curious about the washclothes. I didn't know you could knit them. Is it a special type of yarn or thread?

Love those breaks. I think I am finally back to blogging. I have been checking in. It's great to hear that things are going so well. I will check on your website again soon too. It was awesome. I hope you love the marriage seminar. We did a marriage encounter weekend and learned so much. It was awesome.
