Sadness.....
Anna was one year old on Monday, March 16th! Can you believe it's been one year already????
Hard to believe. I've been going through some sadness since we can't have any more children. I never had a typical pregnancy. It was always stressful, filled with sickness and concerns. I am sad about that. I also feel that we aren't done. I don't know if it's God telling me he wants us to adopt - or if it's ME wanting to adopt. It may be an option in the future. Right now though I am just trying to accept no more children biologically. I didn't feel ready to make that choice but we had to. Seeing Anna grow up SO fast is making me wish she could stay young....but at the same time I know and enjoy all the changes I see in her each day.
She is so precious - a very happy baby - and I enjoy watching her explore! I'll tell you though, life is getting to be interesting. She's going to start walking soon and then school time will be interesting. Just when I thought I was getting a bit of a routine schooling 2 kids in 2 different grade levels.....let's add in a toddler!
I need to get up all the kids and start dinner. I was up until 3 am last night with Anna. She is sick. She was coughing constantly and had such a snotty nose. I enjoyed her cuddling on my shoulder while I swayed with her last night.
Even though hubby is out of town and I'm tired and have been a bit cranky today, I still feel blessed. I have a wonderful family!

Thanks for stopping by the other day. Did you know that my birthday was on the 16th as well? She's going to be a great kid!
I'm sure you'll follow the Lord's leading in adding--or not adding--to your quiver.

Mar. 28, 2009 - Time Sure Does Pass By Too Fast.....
Wow....I remember reading your blog while you were pregnant. I know exactly how you feel. My youngest son just turned 5 yesterday. Made me look at my baby (who is now 9 months) and dread her growing up. Although I also love to watch all the changes (my 5 yr old doing math!), I feel it goes by way too fast. ;)
Blessings,
Jen

I know you will cherish every little thing she does in the next year, too. Toddlers are fun!
How on earth did you manage to read almost 10 books in one month? I can barely squeeze in one book a month.
You go girl!
