Jan. 25, 2009 - Sad times
We are currently in Odessa, Texas. Great weather! Horrible circumstances!. We left Wisconsin last Monday afternoon. Driving straight through to Texas. We arrived here on Tuesday evening. Wednesday afternoon we went to visit Rickey's (my husband) mom. She has been fighting cancer for almost 3 years. Wednesday night she passed away. Please be praying for my family as we travel back home tomorrow afternoon.

Hi. I know this is an old post, but I wanted you to know that I said a prayer for your family in the loss of your mother in law. My mom passed away suddenly last year, and it was very difficult, and my dad was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer just a couple months ago, so I have a good idea of what your family has been through. I hope that your husband and children (and yourself) are healing, and know that God will faithfully hold you in His hands through all circumstances. Just some words of encourgement from one homeschool mom to another!
