Map of the Borderlands...
This is the Borderlands and the area around it. The blue around it is not all water. At the top of the map, where it shows a new mountain rang, is the unknown unexplored land, but the rest is water.

The Borderlands...what is that?
" A soft whisper of wind blew Amayes hair back from her face, as she lay upon the cool ground, gazing up at the early morning sky, and the sun slanting above the horizon. A twitter of birds welcomed in the sunlight, the sound of the rising men drifted quietly over to Amaye, but nothing else stirred, nothing seemed to move. So peaceful, so quiet, and how unprepared they were for what lurked so close, a quarter of a mile behind the trees and drawing ever nearer..." ~ from Faithfulness and Deceit. Where adventure lives on, love hope and faith are true, and where men have bravely fought and died for the ever promising word of freedom. The Borderlands is a long mountain range running between two countries that are as different from each other as any two peoples could be. For the past two hundred years nothing but bloodshed had the silent trees seen, growing and locking each scene in among their other dark secrets which were never to be let uttered. To bring peace to the two nations Etta, a young princess of Eternethia at the age of nineteen left her home, giving up all her own happiness, and agreed to an arranged marriage between herself and an Eternethian prince, second in line to the Eternethian throne. Alas, things went wrong, and when her husband became king of Hanaskea, the Hanaskeans rebelled and Etta fled back to Eternethia with her little baby girl. Peace was never made and the young maiden died an early tragic death. Eighteen years now have passed, the Borderlands are still as dangerous as ever. Rangers, both from Eternethia and Hanaskea now prevail in the forbidden misty woods. The child is now grown. But there has been an unknown change in the Hanasekans: they want their queen now. The maiden now is forced by her step father the king of Eternethia to leave her home just as her mother had, and travel to her most certain death. She is now to become Queen Amaye of Hanaskea, but why do the Hanaskeans suddenly want her? What is behind their words? Danger lurks upon ever side of the journey, and Amaye finds herself in the midst of it all. No sooner do they come upon the forbidden forest - the Borderlands - than do they come upon a dangerous company of Hanaskean Rangers...Map of the Borderlands and Surrounding Countries
