50,000 words in 28 days!!!!!

As you can see from my title and the picture, I have finished my goal of writing a 50,000 word novel in one month. That means a little more than 1,600 words a day. Before I started, I thought that was going to be impossible for me to do. I have since learned something, that you can never know what you can do until you try. I had no idea 4,000 words in a single day was possible to write, but I did that too. Now for the first time ever I know how it feels to actually finish a novel. It is a rather pleasant feeling. Now my novel needs LOTS and LOTS of editing still, I mean there are TONS of scenes I haven't even written in it. But that's for January to edit. I'm taking the month of December to finish FAD's first draft.
But now I think I need a LONG nap!!
I fare ye well!

Hey!!!
Awesome!!! You won NaNoWriMo?? The first I heard about that program was in my Creative Writing class at college fall semester last year. Congrats!! :)
I actually started up again in Dragon Tamer (editing), and changed some stuff and am inching my way towards the new chapter that I hope will at least get DT into the 300 pages range... it's close... I'm going to work more on my blog for Dragon Tamer (it's called Osaria), so if you want to check that out, you can. I will be reposting the chapters there sometime.
How have you been?

Yay!!! *applauds Mool* You did it!!! *remembers that she needs to put the winner's badge up on her own blog*
I was the same way! I had no idea I could be so productive in so short a time!! But I can, and I reached 50k on the 18th - something I would never have thought possible!!
I still can't believe you wrote out-of-order. *shakes her head* I would have gotten SO confused! I would have lost all sense of rising action! *wonders how Mool can do it*
I am going to post about the nano winners on the nano blog sometime soon! It will probably be a rough list, so if you see anyone who's missing, please tell me and I will add them!
Love you! Hope the editing goes good! I still haven't finished my rough draft either, so we can do that together!

Merry late Christmas, Mooly!! It's been forever since I've talked to you, and I was so happy to get your comment! How have you been doing? I guess I've missed a lot, since you've managed to change FAD yet AGAIN while I was gone!!! *considers being angry, but then decides against it* Anyhow, I like the new title, and I can't wait to read it, so send some to me as soon as you can!
Me? Well, I haven't done much writing since I last talked to you - hardly any, actually. I'm trying to get over this mini-block so that I can finish Tears, but I don't think I'll be much farther come 2009.
Anyhow, I want to stay in touch, and know about all the changes you think about doing! My schedule doesn't allow me to be in the chatroom very often, but maybe we could start emailing or something! I think my parents would let me - how about yours?
Love you!

(oooh, you have Blackmore's Night in your playlist, awesome!! :D)
Um..... I'm not sure if the chapters would fit in a personal message :| I think they're way too long for that. I guess I could send a few paragraphs at a time.
How was your Christmas and New Year?

Oh blegh, EDITING!!! How's it going? Or dare I ask? I'm thinking about doing NaNo this fall. I actually did a NaNo of my own in December and completed it in roughly 25 days. It's a novel for Advent called "Shaddai", I'm in the process of posting it at
http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/SaviouroftheLands/ if you're insterested. ;-) Right now I'm also editing my first novel "Heveria", but I don't post it anywhere. I LOVE Celtic music! Do you have any particular favoite songs?
God bless,
~PIP~
