ASPERGERS.... LABEL or Hidden Blessing?
I keep trying to put this post together, but I keep deleting it...
I guess I will try again later.... but suffice it to say (for now) that the pediatric developmental specialist presented a pretty strong "argument" for diagnosing Jordan with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism).

I would recommend reading up on it from a Christian perspective.
Sometimes doctors can be prone to over-diagnosing people. I don't know the situation, but God does. Stay in prayer... asking Him for guidance, perspective, and direction. I will be in prayer for you, your son, and the situation.

At least there is a diagnosis and you can move on from there. One of my best friend's little boy has Aspergers, and he is doing wonderfully now (they found out about three years ago.) She was so glad to give it a name, because everyone was treating her as if she just didn't have any control over her son and was a horrible disciplinarian.
