The Self-Cleaning Bathroom

clipart: Detergent Container Beside a Sponge                             TIRED OF CLEANING YOUR BATHROOM?

DO YOU WANT TO AVOID THE NOXIOUS FUMES AND CHEMICALS IN MOST CLEANERS?

DO YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY ON YOUR CLEANING SUPPLIES?

WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP THE ENVIRONMENT?

You can have a self-cleaning bathroom and accomplish all of the above by using scientifically-tested, clinically-proven, and effective SHAKLEE environmentally-safe cleaning products.

All the cleaners are highly concentrated.  Instead of paying for the shipment of water like most cleaners, you save when you dilute the concentrates with your own water.  For example 16 oz. of window cleaner costs less than a penny, 16 oz. of all- purpose cleaner is less than $.03 and 16 oz. of our disinfectant is less than $.05!  An average family of 4 will save over $200/year on their cleaning supplies when they use SHAKLEE.

SHAKLEE’s cleaners are powerful against dirt, yet gentle on the environment.  They are completely biodegradable--which means ALL elements of the product return to a natural state unlike some other “biodegradable” cleaners where only the surfactants or cleaning agents are biodegradable.

SHAKLEE’s cleaners break down completely within 30 days.  They are safe for septic systems.

Shaklee Basic-H household cleaner was the only cleaner named an official Earth Day product.  SHAKLEE’s germicide is clinically proven to kill over 33 pathogens (bacteria, fungus and virus) including strep, staph, feline leukemia, canine distemper, and E-coli.  It has a 3-day residual effectiveness compared to 1 hour for chlorine bleach.  None of our cleaners is flammable.  The residue from your current disinfectant may leave a flammable surface.  SHAKLEE’s cleaners are water based, not petroleum based.  They leave no residue or film to re-attract dirt and grime.  You clean less frequently; cleaning is easier, and your floors won’t be sticky.  Your cost is about $45.00 for a year’s supply.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SELF-CLEANING BATHROOM

This is a one-time-a-year procedure! Once you have completed this over-all clean up, you can sit back, relax, and never have to do this big job again!  Read on....

1. To get rid of build-up of soap residue in showers, on tiles, bathtubs, sinks, etc.  Use a wet miracle pad with At-Ease and plenty of warm water.   Rub or brush gently, and enjoy the fragrance!  Rinse with clear water. Wipe down with a solution of 1 TB Basic-G per 1 gallon of water to kill mildew.  If mildew is lodged in grouting or seams, brush with full strength Basic-G, let set one hour, then rinse.  Need more brightening/whitening?  Make a paste of Basic-D or Nature Bright and At-Ease, brush on, let set, rinse.

2. To get rid of film on mirrors and windows.  Mix 2-4 drops of Basic-H in 16 oz. water in a spray bottle.  If you have been using other glass cleaners, you may get streaks until the oil residue they leave is cleaned off with the new Basic-H solution.  Be sure you use only drops when mixing. This works great for dusting, also.  Spray on your dust rag and dust even your best wood furniture.

3. To Disinfect.  Mix 1/2 tsp Basic-G in l6 oz water in a spray bottle. Use this to wipe the outside of garbage pails, diaper pails, bathroom vanity, kitchen sinks, toilet, etc.  For best results, let sit for 10 minutes.  It’s a great deodorizer as well as a disinfectant.  Spray throughout the house to kill viruses, etc.

4. To minimize clean-up in the sink area.  Once soap residue is removed with At-Ease, use a Meadow Blend Bar or Meadow Blend Liquid from then on not only to get your hands clean, but to leave no film.  It is effective yet so gentle to your skin.  Also, using only New Concept Spearmint or Wintergreen toothpaste/dentifrice keeps your sink area looking great, too. Not only is New Concept Dentifrice a powerful cleanser for teeth (found to be superior in cleaning when compared by a leading dental research institute with the two leading toothpastes on the market today), but it is so economical that one container can replace two family-sized tubes.

5. To eliminate any cleaning in shower--on walls or doors--from spots.  After soap residue is removed, use only SHAKLEE products because they can’t leave film or spots.  You can bathe with the Meadow Blend Bar or Liquid, Small Wonder Shampoo & Baby Bath, Enfuselle Shower Gel, Basic-H, or Satin Sheen. Your skin will feel great since these plant-based products are soap free, effective, and totally safe.  When you use only SHAKLEE ProSanté Shampoos and Conditioners, there will be no ugly residue collecting in your tub and on the tile or glass walls.   None of these products leaves any bathtub ring.  Isn’t that exciting?

6.  These products are very kind to sensitive skin, including babies.  Yet SHAKLEE’s cleaning products have passed every state’s tests for biodegradability and non-pollution.  Many competitors’ cleaners take 10 years to decompose.  SHAKLEE’s return to nature in less than 30 days.  SHAKLEE cleaners are also Kosher Certified for purity and ingredient labeling.

My mom used Shaklee when we were little. I remember shaklee milkshakes, vitamins and all sorts of stuff. Sounds like a nice cleaning regimen!

Right now we cannot afford for our whole family to take the supplements, but I am taking them to try to rein in my health problems. (they have really helped me a lot) and I keep a lot of supplements on hand for medicinal purposes... not for daily use, but when we are sick or have been exposed to sickness.. we have D&R (Defend and Resist... which is echinicea and other herbs), garlic, alfalfa, prebiotics, probiotics (acidopholus), C, B complex, E, zinc, Nutiferon, etc. We have had great success in treating sicknesses and injuries with supplementation.

Ian's wart fell off after 2 months of one pearl of probiotic a day.
Noah's cast came off at LEAST 2 weeks early after daily using Cal-Mag, and a supplement that is formulated for body builders to repair tissue and bone damage and I also gave him the sports drink equivalent to make sure he was properly hydrated while healing.
I kicked a bout of strep throat in my own body with garlic and alfalfa... no antibiotics!
Ian's asthma is almost non-existent with alfalfa and garlic.
Whenever we get colds we start D&R immediately and seldom have to do anything else for it!
My cycles have become regular again just taking the multi-vites with iron. A friend of mine has had the same result!

I could tell many more similar stories!

My dear friends, Tanya and Jenny have built sucessful home-based businesses as well.. I am not pursuing that right now, but I think it is great that they have been able to do so!

I will have to check out Shaklee ~ maybe not their cleaning stuff. When I lived in Washington and a friend had a military transfer and couldn't move her cleaning supplies, she gave me hers. I don't know what she was thinking. think I have enough to last another 10 years. I couldn't bring myself to throw it all out, so I packed it and moved it to Minnesota. But I am interested in their supplements. Marissa and I volunteered for the nursery at church and I have had upper respiratory infections on and off since we started ~

I am so glad you are getting answers for your son. I found that having Marissa diagnosed was helpful from many points of view (not the least of which was my attitude about her behavior). I'll be lifting you up in prayer as you work through the emotional side of getting a diagnosis. Because good social skills and good non-verbal skills are so important in the market and Marissa doesn't have those, I worry about her future. Take a day at a time and work to stay focused on eternity.

May. 24, 2006 - We Are A Shaklee Family

I cannot say enough good about Shaklee products.
We use their cleaning products, various supplements, and we also use their laundry products. You know, the chemicals we launder in can leach right into your skin...

We had to switch for awhile to their unscented, because, even that was causing dry skin and welts on my daughter's skin. It cleared up within a week of using the unscented. We have since been able to switch back. I know it is safer for your washing machine, I have heard that harsh soaps, like Tide, gunk up your machine. A friend (who sells Shaklee) heard that from the Sears Tech.

I usually take Protein, the Basics, and extra iron when I am pregnant. I always felt good when I was pregnant. My kids love the protein, too.

I know for a fact that their iron is the best. I have heard testimony from a friend and my Sister-in-law, who have had dangerously-low iron problems.

We don't use chemical cleaners; we use Shaklee, and have for about 7 years now. We don't really take OTC drugs( no prescriptions for at least 4 years), and I believe, as a result of de-toxifying our home, we are rarely sick.

When a girlfriend and I used to clean houses, we used our Shaklee. We used a lot less than commercial cleaners, and the Floor to Ceiling can still clean anything.

Anyway, I just had to let you know!
Smiles!
Jacque

My name is Christina. I am 38 years old and have been happily married to my best friend, Russ for over 18 years! My username is quietcajun, but I am neither quiet, nor cajun! The nickname is based on my children's initials! The first four children are: Kaitlyn (16), Jordan (14 next month), Ian (12.5), and Noah (10 next month)... put their first intials together and you get KJIN (cajun). Sarah Hope is one of our babies in Heaven and Hannah (8 in September) is my youngest (so far). Put S and H together and you get SH as in SHHHH... QUIET. Get it? Thus, quietcajun! We are in our 12th year of homeschooling. We have tried public school, but we soon realized how important it is that they be HOME at all costs. Now we are back to having them all home again! It's not always easy, but it is for the BEST! Two of our children have Asperger's Syndrome. That is an adventure in itself. We are still learning! This blog is a place for me to sort out the daily joys and challenges of life as a mother and wife as I strive to love and know God more and bring GLORY to HIM in EVERY part of my LIFE!!!!
