REMIND ME... PLEASE!

In other news... I am taking a LOT of pressure not to pull ALL of the children back out of public school. Kaitlyn, Jordan and Noah are non-negotiable, but Ian and Hannah are in the air so to speak. Ian, I am just thinking of sending him for the Title I reading help before school... NOT full enrollment, but I have been strongly encouraged to keep Hannah in school for one more year so I can get back into the routine with the other four. Hmmm... remind me why this is a bad idea! (I am having a hard time remembering!)

Even my husband thinks we should at least consider it... go ahead and enroll her so she can get a class assignment and if after the Summer all is going well (we plan to homeschool during the Summer) then just withdraw her enrollment.

PLEASE... I need all brutally honest opinions!!!!!

Did you just say I won??!!! YIPEE WHOO HOOO!!!! My first ever win on homeschoolblogger site!! Thanks so much!! I am so excited to get and read that book! I was looking for your e-mail but couldn't locate it. I thought it was under your pic in profile but didn't see it there. Please let me how to get it so I can send my snail mail address. :)

BTW, man, I can't even imagine all you are trying to decide. I have to say though, if you are getting used to a schedule might as well get everyone adjusted at the same time rather than have two different adjustment times. Maybe the younger two could have sibling playtime while you need to be working with older's on some things. I guess it all depends on your style of teaching but I'm pretty relaxed so if it doesn't all get done they still learn right? :) I will be praying for you on this matter.

My name is Christina. I am 38 years old and have been happily married to my best friend, Russ for over 18 years! My username is quietcajun, but I am neither quiet, nor cajun! The nickname is based on my children's initials! The first four children are: Kaitlyn (16), Jordan (14 next month), Ian (12.5), and Noah (10 next month)... put their first intials together and you get KJIN (cajun). Sarah Hope is one of our babies in Heaven and Hannah (8 in September) is my youngest (so far). Put S and H together and you get SH as in SHHHH... QUIET. Get it? Thus, quietcajun! We are in our 12th year of homeschooling. We have tried public school, but we soon realized how important it is that they be HOME at all costs. Now we are back to having them all home again! It's not always easy, but it is for the BEST! Two of our children have Asperger's Syndrome. That is an adventure in itself. We are still learning! This blog is a place for me to sort out the daily joys and challenges of life as a mother and wife as I strive to love and know God more and bring GLORY to HIM in EVERY part of my LIFE!!!!
