I.
My Creation
Born in just the usual way,
By will of humans and will Divine...
From the moment I was created
His love intertwined with mine.
In the very inception,
Of who I'd grow to be,
In His death and resurrection
He thought of even me.
His love reaches back
To the plan before I knew--
His love reaches forward still
To shape me strong and true.
II.
My Deliverance
He, so good and powerful...
I, so corrupt and weak...
He sought me and redeemed me
While "my own way" I did seek.
He delivers me daily
And saves me by His hand;
Rescued from my worst enemy,
My own self-indulged demand.
His love delivered me
And continues still today--
His love recreates
My stubborn will and way.
III.
My Provision
He provides for every need I have,
Even those I do not know.
He sends the sunshine and the storm
And plants me where He knows
I'll grow.
He is the patient Potter
That molds this wayward clay.
He is the caretaking Gardener
That sees to my pruning and praise.
His love pronounces me worthy!
He thinks of me as a treasure!
Fearfully, wonderfully crafted...
His love endures forever!
