GREEN FLUFFY YARN.... and a Pet Peeve Contest!
It is so frustrating when I cannot find one of my favorite afghan colors anymore.
I make afghans from Red Heart Baby Clouds and /or Light and Lofty. They used to have a beautiful denim looking color, a pink and purple variegated and a most lovely shade of sage green.
I was looking for sage today to make an afghan for my nephew, Chance. I ended up settling for a light turquoise with flecks of blue in it. I hope it will not to babyish of a color for him (he is almost 6).
My next afghan is for Cherylof5's new baby, Emily Rose... as soon as I finish the final row of one for my goddaughter, Madison, who will be born next month.
Then, I will be making one for Chance. (His bday is in January).
So... anyway, today's pet peeve is discontinued afghan colors.
Who has a favorite pet peeve to share?
I will send a PRIZE to the commenter with the "best" pet peeve. My children will define what "best" is! LOL! And I am not sure what the prize will be yet, but it will be something! How is that for clear and coherent!!! LOL!

I don't need a prize for being sinful....Lol. I don't need any encouragement. :)
BUT....since you asked.....My mom pet peeve is being interrupted. Cannot, simple cannot stand it. My kids are pretty trained now, but other peoples children who interrupt adults. Drives me bonkers. Not sure why.
My adult pet peeve is people who work at stores and could not care less if you needed to find something, or have a question. They just have complete apathy for their job and by the look on their face.....you're bugging them by asking where the soap is. :)

Not sure if this counts as a pet peeve, but why is it so hard to keep up with pencils in a home school house? And then, here is where I probably do have a pet peeve, the sharpeners we buy never work!! We have yet to buy a good pencil sharpener. So when we do find the pencils, they are usually dull and our only hope of sharpening them is with our teeth!!
