For the past two months or so, my husband had been on shift work and our homeschool schedule was really disjunct.
Last week they were homeschooled by the families that were keeping them while we were gone for Russ' surgery.
Most of them got about 3-4 days worth of schoolwork done while we were gone.
Monday my dh had off for Columbus Day... no formal school work.
Tuesday we did devotions and the children did do their work, but I never had the chance to check it because we had a dental appt. for Kait, a few errands to run, Quiz Team practice and then I left to go out for an early birthday dinner with 3 of my best friends.
Today, we did devotions and again the children sat down and worked and again I did not check their work... that is a dangerous habit, I know!
We DID finish listening to Vivaldi's Ring of Mystery while we were driving back anad forth from errands, but that is about the extent of it.
Tomorrow, Ian has an appointment with a respiratory therapist. He is just having a lung capacity test, but it will take a good portion of time to drive their and back and I may as well run a few errands while I am already out and about.
So tomorrow will probably be a do what we can in the car kind of day.
That will bring us to Friday... hummmmm? Should I just scrap it or try to make it productive?
Why am I feeling so lazy? How long can I blame jet lag? Is it the Autumn blues? Is there such a thing?
