New Goddaughter Is Here!
My newest goddaughter was born at 8:51 this morning! Her mom had planned a homebirth, but the doctor got caught up in rush hour traffic and she had to call 9-1-1. She was home alone with her 3 older children and her husband arrived home to an unexpected ambulance about to whisk his wife away! Everyone was feeling a bit traumatized by this time.
Madison Danae was born THREE scant minutes after arriving at the hospital!
Mom and new little daughter are doing fine! I can't wait to see pictures of her! :) I heard her little baby gurgly noises while I was on the phone with Tanya a while ago!
Thanks for the prayers for a safe delivery for her!

Praising God for a safe delivery. Glad mom and baby are doing well. I bet that ambulance driver was scared out of his or her brain!

What wonderful news! 3 minutes is cutting it close! At least she was in the hospital. We've all heard those stories where the baby is born in odd places. Hey happy birthday (even though it was a few days ago). Scrap-booking does sound like a dream birthday present, I may have to put a bug in my husbands ear for next year. ~K
