Like Mother, Like Daughter!
Today we were driving past construction for a new HUGE Barnes and Noble store. When we commented on it my 14 year old daughter told us that when we were in Oklahoma the family that they (she and Hannah) were staying with took them to the old one (across the highway from the new one) and that they were selling all of their.... CUR.... books!!!
I began to laugh and asked my dh if he had caught that.
He hadn't noticed.
I turned to Kaitlyn and asked, "Were you about to say they were selling all of their curriculum?"
She laughed and admitted her mistake!
She is turning into me in so many ways... including viewing any bookstore as a curriculum resource center! :)

awww. How nice that your lovely young girl is interested in things like books. Curriculum or not! That's just such a nice trait in a 14 yo. I sure hope I guide my daughters toward wholesome things as well!

In your case, I'd say it is a VERY good thing that your children grow up to be like you & Russ! Keep up the good, funny, intelligent, spiritual examples! - Jibz

What a blessing to hear that. It would've blessed my heart, too, to hear my daughter say that. It's always encouraging when their hearts/ways of thinking are revealed.
Maybe when the store opens, y'all will get to go shop for curr.... books together. ;-)
And thank you for the kind comments you left on my blog. It's always great to hear from you.
