Baa, Baa Black Sheep... Have You Any Wool?
Okay, well, not exactly WOOL, but yarn anyway! And... ahem... it's not really black that I need either. I am getting frustrated b/c I have not been able to buy more WHITE... the store is actually STILL not restocked! So, I am getting back logged on afghans that I need to complete.
Here are some of my most recent afghans... all in the past month, I think.

Do I have enough yarn??? And yet, I need more white! I used it all up! I need more for an all white afghan I am working on forRebecca's baby!

The one on the left was for a friend from MOMYS.COM... Cherylof5's baby, Emily Rose... who (last I heard) had not yet been born!
The one on the right was for Brandi's sweet, little girl!

The turquoise afghan is for my nephew, Chance. His birthday is in January and I really wanted to make him a green afghan, but couldn't find green yarn... so I settled for this bluish green, but if I find any green before his bday I will make another one, I think. I actually did find some green, but it had metallic gold in it and looked too Christmassy!
The burgany and cream one is for Ali's new addition. She said she would prefer neutral colors and said she likes burgandy... so though this is not really baby colors... I do love the way it turned out!
The next two on my list are for boys... one for another MOMYS.COM friend, Jamie and one for Tiany's newest son!
My hands and wrists get to hurting after so much crocheting in a short space of time though. So maybe I need to take a break from crocheting and get to some sewing projects. I don't do as well at getting to sewing b/c I hate being all alone in my sewing room. Isn't that funny? You would think I would love the solitude, but I love the hubbub of my life even when I am craving silence! I am strange, I know! :)

Oh, Christina, those are gorgeous!
Great job!
I can't wait to show them to Ally.
She loves to crochet.
Praying your store will get some white yarn.

Wow. Those are beautiful. I made one HUGE afghan years ago for my firstborn, then a baby one for my second, and I haven't made any since. They take so loooong! And you've made four in a month!? Amazing. And so beautiful, too.
Many blessings,
Christi

Those are beautiful! If I ever have another baby, I'll take one just like Ali's! I love deep colors like that.
I get a laugh every time I see another Emily Rose ... that's the name of one of my daughters!

Your afghans are always very pretty! I'm doing a lot of cross-stitching now as Christmas/Hanukah gifts. So we'll both be busy w/ artsy stuff.
"The Dream Giver" is by Bruce Wilkinson. It pretty much us about the dreams God has given us & how to use them despite the obstacles in life.

What lovely gifts! I'm sure they'll be thrilled to receive them. I'm frantically trying to finish some things for a craft fair to raise money for Africa, and I'm not sure I'll get it done. I love making stuff for fairs, but I've been doing it for so long I kind of want to finish something for myself! Oh, well...
