Root Canal Update
Oh the pain! Oh the agony! What torture! What trauma!
Just kidding.
Actually, it wasn't bad at all.
The smells bothered me a bit and I was silly enough to drink an eggnog chai tea on the way so I needed to go "potty" half way through and tried hard not to think about that! (btw... someone asked... so, an eggnog chai tea is just a hot chai tea latte made with half skim milk and half egg nog! It is wonderful!)
My mouth feels a little bit achy as if I had been clenching my jaw or grinding my teeth, but completely bearable!
The worst pain of the whole experience is the hit to our checking account and I still have to pay to have the crown put in at my regular dentist! Yikes!
Thanks for all of your prayers. It really meant a lot to me and helped so much!

So glad to hear all went well, it is sooooo expensive to get any work done at the dentist. I know, we are still paying for my last visit too :-(
Take care of yourself!
Hugs~

Glad it wasn't so bad =) Your so funny, drinking before the appointment. I had some cavities filled and a wisdom tooth pulled not to long ago. Wouldn't it be nice if we could at least watch a good movie or read a book since we are sitting there so long?
I love buying from Mindware because I feel like the kids are schooling while playing ;)
Blessings,
Linda<><

I hate holding my mouth open for long periods of time. You are right that is the worst part of the root canal. Well, that and the smell of the rubber used in the rubber dam. Luckily, my root canal was covered by my insurance. The crown isn't... so I have two teeth that have had root canals and neither has a crown. One was done when I was in high school (about... 25 years ago).
Oh, that eggnog chai sounds yummy! I will have to pick up some chai tea at the store today. I have been putting eggnog in my coffee every morning since the Friday after Thanksgiving. I better check on the eggnog supply too!
