I LOVE Grammar... and a QUIZ
Your Language Arts Grade: 98%
Way to go! You know not to trust the MS Grammar Check and you know "no" from "know." Now, go forth and spread the good word (or at least, the proper use of apostrophes).

I am pretty sure I mixed up the correct usage of it's and its! I always get confused about that!!!
I saw this quiz on AcceptanceWithJoy's website... and couldn't resist!
Post YOUR score in my comments please!

Nov. 29, 2006 - Here's my trick for its and it's...

IT already knows it owns what it owns; therefore, ITS nose or ITS collar or ITS whatever needs no apostrophe.
However,
IT needs an apostrophe when IT is a contraction...IT'S snowing, IT'S raining, IT'S a beautiful day!
Now, I'm off try that test! lol
And here's my result...

I took extra care with the "its and it's" and got 100%! Unfortunately, I don't know how to put the results in a blog.

However - when I tried to copy and paste my results onto my blog, my score showed up properly, but the bottom section shows up in code. Can't figure out how to get it to show up right - did it work fine for you?

I got a 100%, but it was super easy. When I have time I think I'll go back & take the "what kind of reader are you" quiz." Thanks for voting for my dogs' pics! I wish there were less dogs to vote for so they stood a better chance. Oh well!
On your comment on your fears, at least yours are rational ones! And in reference to being too serious, no such thing! Sorry, I'in in a hurry, don't have time to spell check. Have a great day!
